AMEPP®- GRADUATE ENTRY

The graduate-entry programs provide opportunities for a wide range of graduates who have made a mature decision to commit themselves to the medical or dental profession. The program is open to graduates of any field who are able to meet the selection criteria for admission into the participating University medical and dental training degree programs. There is no preference or advanced standing offered to applicants who first degrees.

Applicants are selected for selection and admission into the graduate-entry medical programs on the basis of three criteria.

These are :                    Bachelors degree (GPA Score),  GAMSAT Score,  Interview

Note: Universities may diiffer in their weighing of performance on each of the criteria.

Selection and entry into the graduate-entry dental program is also based on the three listed criteria and a practical skills evaluation.

An applicant's final Graduate Australian Medical School Admission Test (GAMSAT) score is required in support of an application for selection and admission into medical and dental training degree programs offered by the following Australian Universities in 2005:

Flinders University
Bachelor of Medicine/Surgery

University of Queensland
Bachelor of Medicine/Surgery (Graduate Entry) (MBBS)

University of Sydney
Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)
Bachelor of Dentistry (BDent)

(Graduate Entry Program only)
